JxJ Presents: 31 Candles

Sunday, May 18 @ 7:30 pm

This heartwarming and hilarious romantic comedy inspired by director Jonah Feingold’s own experiences centers on Leo Kadner (played by Feingold), a 31-year-old New Yorker who unexpectedly decides to have his long-overdue Bar Mitzvah after a chance encounter with his former summer camp crush, Eva Shapiro (Sarah Coffey).

As Leo navigates the ups and downs of growing up—situationships, exes, and the quirks of family—he embarks on a Mitzvah project that just might help him finally mature. This charming independent film delves into themes of tradition, identity, and the lengths one will go for a second chance at love.

This program is proudly sponsored by Rhoda and Daniel Glickman.
