Since 1969, Camp Achva has engaged Northern Virginia's children in Jewish themes of Connection and Peoplehood through music, crafts, storytelling, dance, and more. By infusing every camp day with unbridled ruach (spirit), campers form lifelong bonds to Judaism and to the friendships forged. Held at Gesher Jewish Day School in Fairfax, VA, the beautifully wooded campus offers a plethora of outdoor spaces and indoor spaces.

Camp Achva provides a fun, safe, experience where children grow and learn. Programming weaves informal Jewish education to strengthen identity, instill values, and build community. We offer a wide range of engaging sports, arts, aquatics, and outdoor adventures.
