Mother Clusters and Children’s books by Jessica Ashkenazi

Established in 2022, Mother Clusters is a woman-owned small business. We handcraft each batch of our chocolate clusters and nonpareils, specializing in unique flavors, delectable taste, and a fun approach! We take pride in clustermer service and creating our chocolates with the top goal in mind -- making you happy!

Based on personal and professional experiences, Jessica (Tischler) Ashkenazi wrote two children's books to encourage understanding, acceptance, and humor. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and was formerly the Inclusion & Disability Services Director at the JCC.

Larry Fass

Engraved wood artwork is a hobby Larry really enjoys. He loves to create designs. Larry was born deaf. He lip reads and speaks. He has been involved in various organizations by assisting in fundraising, including the Washington Society of the Jewish Deaf.

Melissa uses her ADHD to be creative and that includes baking! She has been baking Biscotti for years in addition to creating quilts, gardening, and running her business, Ease - Empowerment, Advocacy & Sexuality Education, LLC. Melissa has a passion for getting to know people with disabilities and their families, and sharing resources and education to help them live their best lives!

Avery Oerth Company makes colorful, simple, buttons, magnets, and bookmarks with positive affirmation words and sayings. With over 200 words to choose from in a variety of bright colors, there is something for everyone!

Sophiola by Sophia Pineda

Sophia is a young lady with a passion for art, dancing, music, family, friends, and fun. She also happens to have Down syndrome.

Art has truly captured Sophia's imagination and became her heartfelt and focused way to express herself. Through camps and classes at Libertytown Arts Workshop, she has worked in painting, drawing, and pottery. She especially loves Chinese watercolor painting. She brings an infectious sense of joy, humor, and exuberance to her art and to her life.

BUDVases and PawsitivityRocks by Toni Popkin

BUDVases are one-of-a-kind handcrafted artisan vases that can hold fresh flowers or be used for decor.  Each vase is created with a special technique by Toni and finished with several coats of professional-grade clear gloss varnish for a beautiful shine. BUDVases are named after Toni’s former task-trained service dog, Bud, who lives on in Toni's artistry. 

#PawsitivityRocks are Toni’s version of Kindness Rocks -- but with Toni’s special flair for color and meaningful messages. Discover which messages speak to you!

Her current service dog, Churchill, helps make it possible for Toni to continue crafting and sharing her creations. 

Hello Love Cards by Michael Sardoni

Michael has always loved drawing animals and characters and found it helpful when feeling overwhelmed or dysregulated. He creates cards with his artwork hoping that the same comfort and joy he felt while creating them will be passed along to others. For every card purchased, he sends another anonymously to a nursing or veterans' home.

Oodles of Doodles Arts by Miles Sanford

Miles lives with epilepsy and autism and has a deep passion for the arts. She enjoys drawing both digitally and traditionally, creating small clay figures, and exploring fiber arts such as knitting and making loom bracelets. Miles is also a dedicated advocate for epilepsy and autism awareness and acceptance. Her special interest is animals—especially dogs and horses—and she loves visiting the therapy farm to spend time with the therapy horses. Miles often shares her favorite saying: “I may have epilepsy; epilepsy doesn’t have me.” For her, art is both a therapeutic outlet and a meaningful way to raise awareness.

Hina is a local autistic artist whose creativity shines through every handmade piece. She expresses her love for color, texture, and joy through unique polymer clay and UV resin earrings, beaded jewelry, and festive ornaments. Each creation reflects her attention to detail and holiday spirit, celebrating individuality and the beauty of handmade art.

Zina Segal's mission in this universe is to bring Jewish joy. Her colorful jewelry will definitely brighten up your holiday, make amazing gifts for kids and adults, and help you share your joy with others! 100% of the proceeds are going to Pozez JCC's Inclusion and Disability Services.

Alex is an Arlington, VA resident on the Autism Spectrum. He's had difficulty with how to properly read, write, and even talk. But it has not prevented his pursuit in Art. At first, it was just a pastime hobby but now it plays a more crucial part of his life. It is his most preferred form of communication and expression of who he is. From the beginning of his journey as an artist, he's visited multiple galleries and museums that held the history and techniques of famous artists that date back from prehistory to the present generation. He takes that inspiration and merges that with his own interests and experiences to drive his designs. That is how he would like to stand out.

Chen is the Israeli Shlicha in Northern Virginia. She's married to Hila and absolutely loves crafting and creating things by hand. She's lived on four different continents and traveled all over the world, collecting materials and inspiration along the way.
For the Hanukkah sale, she is bringing handmade magnets, bookmarks, and laptop stickers, all featuring beautiful, botanical-inspired designs. They can be purchased individually or as matching sets.
