Here at Achva, we listen to what families tell us — about rising costs, federal uncertainty, the “is anyone else feeling this economy?” energy that seems to be everywhere, and that registering for camp can feel like submitting a self-prepared tax return.
So, when planning our 2026 summer, we made a commitment to keep camp prices as flat as possible. We created more pathways to join, and we are making a promise that registration will flow more smoothly and be a faster process.
This year we are moving to Member and Non-Member rates, and for the first time ever, synagogue membership now qualifies for the member rate.
Camp Rates
Your weekly rate is based on the total number of weeks you register for.
Pricing For Members (including synagogue members):
1–4 weeks: $600 per week
5–7 weeks: $550 per week
Pricing For Non-members:
1–4 weeks: $630 per week
5–7 weeks: $600 per week
CIT Pricing:
Members: $375 per week
Non-members: $425 per week
Summer 2026 Camp Weeks:
Week 1: June 22 – June 26
Week 2: June 29 – July 3
Week 3: July 6 – July 10
Week 4: July 13 – July 17
Week 5: July 20 – July 24
Week 6: July 27 – July 31
Week 7: August 3 – August 7
Transportation and Aftercare

Transportation Locations
We will be offering transportation between camp and the following confirmed stops. If your family is interested in adding a transportation stop to a location near you, please reach out! Transportation is $150/week.
- Beth El Hebrew Congregation in Alexandria
- Adat Reyim Congregation in Springfield
- Pozez Jewish Community Center in Fairfax
- Etz Chayim in Arlington
- Nottoway Park in Vienna
Aftercare
Aftercare goes until 5:30pm. The fee is $150/week for members and $175/week for non-members.
Important Registration Information
Registration Fee
A one-time, non-refundable $50 registration fee per camper is required upon enrollment.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of $50 per week per child is required with registration. Deposits are applied toward the total/final tuition balance.
Tuition Schedule
For enrollments submitted before May 4, 2026: Remaining tuition and applicable fees (minus deposits) will be charged on May 4, 2026.
For enrollments submitted on or after May 4, 2026: All tuition, deposits, and fees will be charged in full at the time of enrollment.
Payment Methods and Fees
Registration fees, deposits, and tuition may be paid by debit card, credit card, or ACH.
A 4% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions.
No surcharge applies to debit or ACH payments.
Member and Non-member Rates
Member rates require an active Pozez JCC Household membership or an active membership at a Northern Virginia Synagogue for the duration of the summer.
Memberships will be verified.
Non-member rates are available for families without a Pozez JCC or synagogue membership.
Registration Downgrades
Administrative fees for reducing registered weeks:
- Until April 30, 2026: $50
- May 1–May 29, 2026: $100
- After May 29, 2026: $150
Changing Weeks (Same Number of Weeks)
One change to selected weeks may be made before April 24, 2026, with no fee, provided the total number of weeks remains the same.
After April 24, 2026, a $100 administrative fee applies to any week changes or multiple changes.
Registration Upgrades
Adding weeks or upgrading enrollment is encouraged and carries no administrative fee.
Upgrading Weeks After May 4
After tuition is charged on May 4, families are welcome to add more weeks.
Added weeks will be billed at the tier rate active at the time of purchase.
Previously registered weeks will not be adjusted or discounted.

Late or Returned Payments
A 5% late fee applies if tuition is unpaid by May 4, 2026, or within seven (7) days of that date.
Returned ACH or check payments incur a $50 NSF fee, due within seven (7) days along with outstanding balance.
Required Forms
All required forms must be completed and submitted before a camper attends any week of camp.
Campers may not attend until all forms are fully submitted.
