SUMMER'S HOT. CAMP IS COOL!

Campers experience new activities and environments as they grow

Our camp programming grows with campers, arcing through their Camp Achva experience and supporting their development. The arc is designed to meet campers where they are socially, emotionally, and physically, as well as, to challenge campers with where they want to go with expanded activity options as campers age up through Camp.

WOODWORKING IS NOT HARD AS NAILS

With guidance from supportive staff, campers gain self-confidence and pride

One of Camp Achva's most popular activities is woodworking. The activity allows them to use strength, coordination, and their listening skills to build structures for which they are proud.

HONING-IN ON ACCURACY AND POWER

The custom-made Slingshot Range is a camp fave and skill-builder

Our younger campers develop eye-hand coordination and skills on the custom-made slingshot range. These abilities translate to the skills needed for archery when they transition to the Chalutzim unit.

STAYING ON TARGET!

Archery helps develop life skills.

Balance and coordination, depth perception, composure, and accuracy are just some of the skills acquired when practicing archery.

FUELING CREATIVITY

Campers have the space and are urged to be creative

Whether making friendship bracelets, tie-dying t-shirts, painting watermelons, or creating a unique craft... campers are encouraged to let their creative juices flow.

BUILT ON TRADITIONS

Camp embraces the past while encouraging new ideas

Camp Achva has so many wonderful traditions! Campers are taught spirited songs and dances that they look forward to repeating year after year.

Each day, campers will rotate through different activities with their groups so that all campers have the best chance of experiencing the activities that are age appropriate for them!
