Upcoming Social Skills Classes

Social Skills Classes are offered for pre-school and school-aged children to learn and practice social interactions. The classes are geared towards those with Level 1 Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and/or related social communication disorders.

Upcoming Sessions:

Play Skills (Tuesdays) – Fall
Tuesdays, September 9-November 18 (7 weeks; no class Sept. 23, Oct. 7, 14, Nov. 4)
4:00 PM-5:00 PM

Join us for fun and exploration as children aged three to five years old learn and strengthen their fundamental social skills through active play in a safe and supportive environment. Children will be guided through play-based activities to enhance their skills in turn-taking, playing together, sharing, winning/losing, using their words to express thoughts/feelings, understanding/regulating emotions, and much more! The goal is for each child to develop appropriate play skills to use in all social environments. This class is designed for children who would benefit from learning appropriate interactions during cooperative play. An intake is required for participants who are new to our programs at the J.
