Adapted games and sports provide children of all abilities the opportunity to learn and practice the skills of team sports such as basketball and soccer. Virtual games, offered twice a month, provide opportunities to socialize, learn, and explore.

Adapted Basketball (Ages 13-22 years old)

Sundays, January 12-March 16 (8 weeks; no practice Jan. 19, Feb. 16)
1pm-1:50pm

Adapted Basketball provides children of all abilities with an opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of the game. Players learn techniques, perform drills, work in teams, and participate in non-competitive games. Participants are supported by volunteer buddies, under the guidance of the head coach, in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. This program promotes a variety of benefits that include building confidence, practicing social skills, increasing gross motor skills, and much more!
