Youth Group Lessons
Learning to swim is important for children not only for their enjoyment but also for their safety. Our youth swim lessons offer a structured and supportive environment where participants can develop essential water safety skills, build confidence, and improve their swimming technique. Whether your child is just starting their aquatic journey or looking to refine their strokes, our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing personalized instruction to help every swimmer reach their full potential.
Lessons, classes, and aquatic programming are available to all and do not require a J-Family membership.
These classes are for ages 5-12.
Upcoming Classes
Youth Adaptive Group Swim
This inclusive, adaptive swim class is designed specifically for children with a disability. It combines beginner instruction with essential water safety education to build confidence in the water. Led by experienced instructors, students learn fundamental skills—including kicking, floating, and basic strokes—tailored to their individual abilities. The program also features group activities to promote community and social connection, empowering every swimmer to enjoy the water responsibly.

Youth Swim Level 1
Designed for beginners who are new to swimming. This level focuses on water acclimation, breath control, basic floating and water safety.
Sundays, July 19–August 9 (4 weeks)
10:00 AM-10:30 AM

Youth Swim Level 2
For children who are comfortable in the water, can fully submerge for up to 10 seconds, and can float on their front and back. This level develops swimming skills further by refining stroke techniques like front crawl and introducing basic glides. Swimmers work toward building confidence to swim 10–15 feet independently.

Refunds/Group Class Cancellations
If registration for group class is not cancelled prior to the first day of class, a $25 handling fee will be deducted from the refund. After the start of the class, only credits are issued. Cancellation with full credit prior to class start, prorated by number of classes after start date
