JxJ Presents: Looking for Chloe

Sunday, May 19 @ 4:00 pm

Looking for Chloe is the story of an Egyptian woman of Jewish origin who revolutionized fashion but whose name remains unknown: Gaby Aghion. With clients including Jackie Kennedy, Brigette Bardot, and Maria Callas, Aghion transformed the clothing industry by giving women lighter, more wearable options. A film about an extraordinary woman, this documentary includes archival footage and a recreated interview with Aghion herself.

About JxJ: Presented by the Edlavitch DCJCC, JxJ encompasses the Washington Jewish Film and Music Festivals, alongside a year-round film and music program. JxJ gives exposure to independent filmmakers and musical artists working in the Jewish and/or Israeli space. Each spring, the annual Festival is held on stages and screens throughout DC, Virginia, and Maryland.

The Pozez JCC is proud to bring these cultural films to Northern Virginia through its partnership with Edlavitch DCJCC.
