Welcome to JCCCT, our exciting new community theatre program designed for rising 9th grade students through rising college freshmen. This summer, we’re creating a vibrant and inclusive space for young theatre enthusiasts across Northern Virginia.

Auditions are June 6th and 7th with 2-hour audition slots available from 6:00-10:00 pm at the JCC. Auditionees will be released after music and dance call are completed! Callbacks are by invitation only on June 8th from 6:00-9:00 pm

Our First Production: 13

Get ready for a high-energy musical journey as we present 13! Follow the story of a young Jewish boy navigating the complexities of moving from NYC to Indiana, making new friends, preparing for his bar mitzvah, and discovering what it means to grow up. With pop music, dynamic dancing, and middle school humor, this production is sure to be an “O-P-P-Opportunity” you won’t want to miss!

1. What is the JCCCT?
The Jewish Community Center Community Theatre (JCCCT) is a Fairfax-based teen theater program hosted by the Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia. This summer we are offering a theatre opportunity for teens entering 9th grade through rising college freshmen in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

2. Who can participate in the JCCCT teen theater program?
Our teen acting program is open to students in Fairfax County and surrounding areas entering 9th grade through their first year of college. Whether you're a beginner or experienced performer, we welcome all teens interested in musical theater, drama, and performing arts.

3. Where are rehearsals and performances held?
All rehearsals and community theatre performances take place at the Pozez JCC in Fairfax, VA. We provide professional rehearsal spaces and a fully equipped stage, perfect for local teens to explore and develop their theatrical skills.

4. What shows are coming up?
Our upcoming production is 13: The Musical, a pop musical that offers exciting roles and relatable stories for middle and high school performers. Our audition dates can be found at the top of the web page, along with signups, character descriptions, and the audition form.

5. Do teens need prior experience to audition?
No experience is necessary! Our community theatre program is designed to support first-time performers and seasoned actors alike. We focus on building confidence and performance skills through professional coaching and fun, engaging rehearsals.
