Sophia is a young lady with a passion for art, dancing, music, family, friends, and fun. She also happens to have Down syndrome.

Art has truly captured Sophia's imagination and became her heartfelt and focused way to express herself. Through camps and classes at Libertytown Arts Workshop, she has worked in painting, drawing, and pottery. She especially loves Chinese watercolor painting. She brings an infectious sense of joy, humor, and exuberance to her art and to her life.

Miles's artwork this year is focusing back to traditional art! Painting on canvas with acrylic paint. They're focusing on paintings that represent their interests and creativity. Their special interest is dogs. Their favorite dog breed is the standard poodle, and the color coat of the poodle is brown and apricot. Miles's other special interest is space and NASA. They like to incorporate that into the art as well. Their creativity of painting is abstract with a twist of whimsical designs with flowers and fruit. Their art has helped them explore and create new things out of their comfort zone now that Miles is back to painting. By using art, Miles is bringing awareness for Epilepsy, Autism, and classical Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. They may have epilepsy along with other chronic conditions, and it may limit them at times, but with their creativity, Miles won’t let that stop them. They're so excited to participate, yet again, in the annual art show and fundraiser!

Abby Joy Jewelry was born from Abby's passion for creating art you can wear. In Abby's studio, each design is handcrafted with care, from initial sketches and wax carving to the final polish, ensuring that every detail reflects beauty, quality, and joy. Her goal is to make jewelry that feels both timeless and personal, designed to bring delight to your everyday moments.

Alex is an Arlington, Virginia resident on the Autism Spectrum who has a passion for Art. At first, it was just a pastime hobby but now it plays a more crucial part of his life. It is his most preferred form of communication and an expression of who he is. From the beginning of his journey as an artist, Alex has enjoyed visiting multiple galleries and museums. That led him to major and graduate with a B.A. in Art at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He currently works two part-time jobs and in his free time he works on a variety of art projects. He gains inspiration from nature and popular culture with a touch of humor. Alex hopes you enjoy his creations!
