Our youth swim lessons offer a structured and supportive environment where participants can develop essential water safety skills, build confidence, and improve their swimming technique. Whether your child is just starting their aquatic journey or looking to refine their strokes, our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing personalized instruction to help every swimmer reach their full potential. Upcoming Group Swim Lessons for Ages 6-12
Group Swim Level 1
Designed for beginners who are new to swimming. This level focuses on water acclimation, breath control, basic floating and water safety.

Group Swim Level 2
For children who are comfortable in the water, can fully submerge for up to 10 seconds, and can float on their front and back. This level develops swimming skills further by refining stroke techniques like front crawl and introducing basic glides. Swimmers work toward building confidence to swim 10–15 feet independently.

Group Swim Level 3
Perfect for children ready to expand their swimming abilities. This level focuses on mastering front crawl with rhythmic breathing, strengthening kicks, and practicing backstroke. Swimmers aim to cover 15–25 feet consistently.

Tailored for intermediate swimmers who can swim short distances comfortably. This level sharpens freestyle and backstroke techniques, and builds endurance to swim the full length of the pool confidently.

Group Swim Level 5
Designed for advanced swimmers with strong foundational skills. This level emphasizes technique refinement for freestyle and backstroke, introduces elements of breaststroke and butterfly. This level builds stamina for continuous swimming. Swimmers aim to swim multiple pool lengths with proper form and efficiency.

Youth Skills for Summer
This dynamic 5-day program is designed for school-aged students. The daily four-hour clinics feature a combination of time in and out of the pool including:
- Three 30-minute swim lessons designed to develop essential swimming skills, including floating, kicking, and basic strokes.
- An interactive water safety presentation covering vital topics such as pool and open water safety.
- A fun exercise workout focused on building strength and stamina, to further enhance their fitness.
Led by experienced instructors in a supportive and engaging environment, this clinic offers the ideal preparation for summer camp swim tests, or a head start on the learn-to-swim journey.
Please note: This course is not recommended for students with no prior swim experience or a fear of water. Participants should feel comfortable putting their heads underwater.

Youth Adaptive Swim
This adaptive swim class combines beginner swim instruction with essential water safety education to help participants develop confidence and competence in the water. Students learn fundamental techniques such as proper kicking, arm movements, floating, and basic strokes, tailored to their individual needs and ability levels. In addition, the program incorporates teamwork activities and group exercises that promote community building and social connection. Led by experienced instructors, this engaging and inclusive program ensures that each swimmer feels empowered while gaining the skills needed to enjoy the water responsibly.

Lessons, classes and aquatic programming are available to all and do not require a J-Family membership.
Refunds/Group Class Cancellations
If registration for group class is not cancelled prior to the first day of class, a $25 handling fee will be deducted from the refund. After the start of the class, only credits are issued. Cancellation with full credit prior to class start, prorated by number of classes after start date
