Developmental (Non-Competitive) Swim Team
Our club swim team will prepare your young swimmer for competitive swim teams and keep experienced swimmers in the swimming spirit throughout the fall, winter, and spring. Coaches will help your swimmer hone in on all four strokes through drills and workouts lasting up to an hour.
Sprint To Summer
Tuesday and Thursdays, April 22 – May 15, 2025, 6:30pm-7:30pm
Ages: 6-16
Prerequisites: Must be able to swim 50 meters of freestyle and backstroke. Must be able to swim 25 meters of breaststroke and butterfly. Needs to be able to do a flip-turn and dive from a sitting position
This program will run for 4 weeks (8 classes) with each meeting focused on the following skill areas: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, starts, turns and more.

Spring Sessions
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30pm-7:30pm
Ages: 6-16
Prerequisites: Child must be able to swim freestyle and back crawl for 25 meters, unassisted in the deep end.

This class will have a range of skill levels to benefit swimmers as they continue to gain confidence in swimming further distances in freestyle and backstroke. Students will learn dolphin kick, breaststroke pull and kick, and start learning how to flip turn. Endurance will be increased throughout the 15-weeks. Each class is limited to 18 swimmers and must have a minimum of 4 swimmers per class to run.
Tryouts for developmental swim team will be held on Tuesday, January 7th and Thursday, January 9th. To qualify, swimmers must complete 25 meters of both front crawl and backstroke unassisted. Swimmers will be placed in their appropriate groups for the season based on their performance. The cost of tryouts is not included in team fees.
