VolunteerFest 2025 with Volunteer Fairfax
Monday, November 3 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Pack Meals. Build Community. Make a Difference.
For 30 years, VolunteerFest has brought together hundreds of people each fall for a day of action, connection, and real impact in Northern Virginia. This year, we are setting our sights high with a goal to pack 75,000 nutritious meals to help fight hunger in our community. These meals will go directly to local residents who need them most.
The need is urgent. The Capital Area Food Bank reports that more than one million people in our region are food insecure, including one in ten children who do not always know where their next meal will come from.
How YOU can get involved:
JOIN on Monday, November 3 at the Pozez JCC to pack meals during one of two shifts:
9am – 11am or 12pm to 2pm (Meal packing shifts include the Community Fair)
OR Select the Community Fair option to learn more about local nonprofits and government agencies which support our community between 9AM and 12:30PM.
Advance registration is required for each attendee, whether packing meals or not. *You must attend only the shift for which you are registered. If you are not packing meals, select the “Community Fair Only” option. Food packing is appropriate for adults and children 10 years and older. All children and teens under age 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult. No more than two children per adult can be registered.
