Would you like to learn Hebrew in a small group setting? This ongoing course is designed for beginners to the Hebrew language or those who need a good refresher. Students will learn important vocabulary, grammar, and common phrases and sentences/questions using a variety of resources. Each student must purchase the textbook: “Hebrew from Scratch: Part 1” (available new on Amazon; used on Abe Books). The book uses quotations from all eras of Hebrew writing and has a Hebrew-English Dictionary which includes all vocabulary and grammatical terminology. Whether you are planning a future trip to Israel or just interested in learning the Hebrew language for your own knowledge, this course will give you an excellent foundation.
Notes: New students are expected to know the alef-bet and take a brief assessment to join this ongoing class. Minimum number of students: 4; maximum: 12.
