Zikaron BaSalon
Memories in the Living Room
This year, for Yom Ha’Shoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day, commemorated on April 24th, 2025), the Pozez JCC is collaborating with Zikaron BaSalon, an organization dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust through personal testimonies and intimate gatherings.
We invite individuals and families to host meaningful gatherings in their homes. Each Zikaron BaSalon event will be unique with discussions reflecting diverse perspectives and personal reflections on the Holocaust and its lessons. Through Zikaron BaSalon, participants have the opportunity to hear, firsthand, recorded testimonies from the Holocaust and, when possible, connect with survivors to honor their experiences.
You decide:
- The date of your gathering (April 17 – June 1, 2025)
- Whom to invite (5 or more people)
- Topic for the discussion
You get:
- Educational resources from Zikaron BaSalon and Pozez JCC
- A $100 gift card! (After you submit at least 3 pictures and a brief description of the gathering)
Help us build community and honor the memory of Holocaust survivors!
