Join us for an intimate evening of stories, memories, and community.
🕕 6:00 PM – Gather in a community member’s home for conversation, light refreshments, and time to connect.
🕡 6:30 PM – Living Room Talk: “My Family’s Exodus from Egypt”
Chen, the Israeli Shlicha, will share her family’s journey—from life in Egypt, through the events that led them to leave, and ultimately to building a new life in Israel. Through this personal story, we will explore the history of Egypt’s Jewish community and revisit significant moments in both Egyptian and Israeli history.
Together, we will reflect on our own family stories of migration, belonging, and identity, and discover how personal journeys connect to the broader story of the Jewish people.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful evening with you.

מוזמנים לערב אינטימי של סיפורים, זיכרונות וחיבורים בקהילה הישראלית.
🕕 18:00 – נפגשים בסלון של אחד מחברי הקהילה לקפה, נשנושים ושיחות טובות.
🕡 18:30 – שיחת סלון: “יציאת מצרים המשפחתית שלי”
חן, השליחה הישראלית, תשתף את סיפורה של משפחתה – מהחיים במצרים, דרך האירועים שהובילו לעזיבתה, ועד ההגעה לישראל. דרך הסיפור האישי נצא למסע קצר בהיסטוריה של יהדות מצרים וניזכר ברגעים משמעותיים בהיסטוריה המצרית והישראלית.
לאורך הערב נשוחח גם על סיפורי המשפחה שלנו, על מסעות, הגירה, שייכות וזהות, ונגלה כיצד הסיפורים האישיים שלנו מתחברים לסיפור הרחב של העם היהודי.
