Voices from Re’im: Community, Resilience, and Hope
Wednesday, October 29 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
The Pozez JCC is honored to welcome Zohar Livne Mizrahi, Secretary General of Kibbutz Re’im, for a moving and insightful conversation. Kibbutz Re’im, located near the site of the Nova Music Festival, became a place of unimaginable tragedy on October 7, 2023, and has since become a symbol of resilience, community, and renewal.
In this special program, Zohar will share her perspective as a leader guiding her community through loss, recovery, and rebuilding. Participants will have the opportunity to hear firsthand about life in Re’im today, the challenges of moving forward, and the spirit of strength and hope that continues to define the kibbutz.
This conversation is an opportunity to connect with the lived experience of Israelis, to reflect together as a community, and to honor the courage and resilience of Kibbutz Re’im.
The event is free. RSVP required. Please help us support the Shlichut and Israel Engagement program by donating upon registration.
This event immediately follows Survived to Tell: A Virtual Reality Nova Memorial Experience.
In partnership with Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.
