Survived to Tell: A Virtual Reality Nova Memorial Experience
Wednesday, October 29 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Thanks to the generous support of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, the Pozez JCC is honored to present Survived to Tell, a groundbreaking Virtual Reality (VR) experience. Using innovative technology, participants will hear firsthand testimonials from survivors of the Nova Music Festival and virtually visit the memorial built at the site in Israel. This powerful program offers a new way to engage with memory and connect to stories of resilience.
The program is brought to us by IsraelIS, a leading Israeli nonprofit known for creating meaningful, innovative experiences that strengthen Jewish identity and connections to Israel worldwide. Through their VR platform, they bring stories and places to life in ways that inspire lasting understanding and engagement.
Due to technical constraints, participation is limited to 24 people. The event is free, and an RSVP is required. Help us support the Shlichut and Israel Engagement program by donating upon registration.
Immediately following the VR experience, you can proceed to the Voices from Re’im: Community, Resilience, and Hope event.
