JxJ Presents: Running on Sand

A glorious comedy about Aumari, a young Eritrean refugee living in Israel, who is about to be deported back to his home country. After a spontaneous escape attempt at the airport, he is mistaken for a Nigerian soccer star, who is supposed to arrive at the same time.
About JxJ: Presented by the Edlavitch DCJCC, JxJ encompasses the Washington Jewish Film and Music Festivals, alongside a year-round film and music program. JxJ gives exposure to independent filmmakers and musical artists working in the Jewish and/or Israeli space. Each spring, the annual Festival is held on stages and screens throughout DC, Virginia, and Maryland.
