JCC Adult Bereavement Support Group for Widows & Widowers (In-Person at the Pozez JCC)

This is a new monthly support group for anyone who has recently – or not-so-recently – lost a spouse or partner. Join us for an open, frank forum on issues such as grief, bereavement, and moving forward after great loss. All are welcome.
Fee: No admission fee, however, registration is required.

About our Facilitator:
Sharon Alman is a licensed clinical social worker who had a private practice in Burke, VA for 30 years. She retired in 2021 and found a new purpose in facilitating groups for Brandeis Women’s Learning Center and Retirement Communities. She enjoys discussing such issues as Aging Wisely, Ethical and Moral Issues, Using Our Strengths to Manage the Crazy World We Live In with senior adults who are motivated to learn and grow. Sharon was an original member of the NVJCC Board and is excited to be an active member of its diversified resources today.
