Yiddish 1: A Taste of Yiddish – Summer Session 2024 (Virtual)
Thursday, June 20 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Beginners and those with a little knowledge are welcome! We will continue reading stories and learning new vocabulary. We’ll also learn to say useful phrases and how to ask important questions and tell jokes in Yiddish. Study materials will be provided via email and Word documents, in Hebrew letters as well as transliteration. Learn this hybrid (German-Hebrew) language used by our ancestors, that has become quite popular today!
