Women’s Wisdom and Leadership in Jewish Texts and Contemporary Homes
Thursday, December 11 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Instructors: Priscilla Askenas and Zina Segal
Join us for a meaningful five-part series that celebrates the voices of Jewish women from our classical texts; bringing their wisdom into our contemporary homes. Each gathering offers an opportunity for both learning and creativity, exploring the leadership and legacy of a different woman from Jewish tradition, followed by crafting a unique item of Judaica connected to her story. Each project will be something one can proudly use in their own Shabbat and holiday rituals.
Participants may register for a single session or purchase the full series at a discounted rate. Over the course of the program, participants will create their own full set of handmade ritual items: a challah board, kiddush cup, Shabbat candlesticks, a Havdalah candle, and a beautifully decorated tambourine.
