What’s Next? A Little Nosh, A Little Learning on Life’s Next Chapters

Join us for a practical, informative, interactive, and compassionate conversation about life’s later chapters from a panel of trusted community experts. You’ll hear about housing transitions and downsizing, elder care services, hospice and end-of life care, and Jewish funeral practices from local professionals.
The Panel will feature:
- Rabbi Joshua Ackerman, JSSA Hospice Chaplin and Chelsea Swink, JSSA Hospice RN Clinical Intake Director – Compassionate end-of-life care and family support
- Shirah Cohen, Senior Real Estate Specialist (RLAHre.com) – Realtor specializing in later-life transitions, downsizing, and aging-related housing decisions
- Ellen Suls MacDonald, Community Liaison, Northern Virginia Jewish Funerals – Jewish funeral traditions, rituals and guidance
- Vanessa Rosengart, Aging Lifecare Manager, Elder Care Consultants (eldercc.com) – Aging life care management, care coordination, advocacy, and guidance to help older adults and their families navigate complex care decisions, aging transitions, and long-term care planning.
