A first gathering of conversation, reflection, and shared discovery.
Together, we will explore Shabbat as a moment of pause and connection, and begin to notice how ideas of light, food, rest, and celebration appear across different cultures and traditions.
It’s a space to slow down, share stories, and begin shaping what Shabbat could mean for each couple.
Shabbat We Create Together: Dinner
Friday, August 28 | 6:30 PM-9:00 PM | Pozez JCC
A shared Shabbat evening around the table, where reflection becomes experience. Together, we will step into a lived Shabbat — shaped by the people in the room, the stories we bring, and the traditions we carry.
It is an invitation to experience Shabbat not as something fixed, but as something we create together.
Fee: $110 per JCC Member Couple/ $120 per Non-member Couple. (Includes participation in both events: Afternoon Tea and Shabbat dinner (appetizers, main course, side dishes, wine). One registration per couple, please add your partner’s name in the questions on the checkout pages.
