“La Lucha” follows the inspiring 35-day, 250-mile journey of four activists who marched across the Andes to La Paz advocating for disability rights. Despite harsh conditions and hostility, their determination, supported by allies, led to laws recognizing disability rights in Bolivia, showcasing the power of collective action.
After the film, stay for a conversation on Disability Rights Advocacy where breaking barriers to inclusion and promoting policies for equal access to education, healthcare, and employment will be discussed.
