Join us for a special evening celebrating Sigd, one of the most meaningful holidays of Ethiopian Jewish tradition. Come experience the holiday through Ethiopian food, storytelling, music, and the personal perspective of acclaimed Israeli actor and creator Yossi Vassa.

Begin the evening with traditional Ethiopian food and a chance to learn more about Sigd, its traditions, and its significance in Ethiopian Jewish culture. Gather around the table, taste Ethiopian flavors, and celebrate together.
8:00 PM | Yossi Vassa: Live Performance & Stories
Acclaimed Israeli actor, writer, and television creator Yossi Vassa takes the stage for a special performance combining humor, storytelling, and personal experiences. Born in Ethiopia and immigrating to Israel at age 10, Yossi draws on his own journey to explore identity, belonging, immigration, and the experience of growing up between cultures.
About Yossi Vassa
Yossi Vassa is an award-winning Israeli actor, writer, and television creator. He created, wrote, and starred in the Israeli sitcom Nevsu, which won the International Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series in 2018. His work brings together humor and personal storytelling to explore Ethiopian-Israeli identity and the universal experiences of family, belonging, and finding your place.
