Camp Gadol: A one-week, half-day camp experience for active adults

Come for a week of joy, connection, and creative exploration at Camp Gadol. Whether you cherished childhood summers at day or sleepaway camp, or dreamt of a having a summer camp experience, Camp Gadol is your chance to recapture that carefree spirit.
This year, we will travel around the World in five days (no need for a passport), visiting five continents, their cultures, and learning about Jewish communities across the globe! Israel, Argentina, Spain, Morocco, and China await you!
Campers will dive into themed days that each include two to three hands-on activities with specialists, such as arts and crafts, music and movement, games and sports, cooking and eating, and engaging discussions – all while forming friendships and creating memorable experiences. Kosher lunch and snacks are provided each day!
Around the World in 5 Days (no passport needed!) Daily Highlights:
Day 1: Welcome to Camp; Ethiopia
Enjoy Ethiopian coffee and learn about Tamar Belay’s inspiring family story during Operation Moses.
Day 2: Spanish-Speaking Countries…Spain, Mexico & Hispaniola
Art: Create mosaic art inspired by Spanish and Moorish architecture with artist Sarah Berry.
Day 3: India
Spiritual Practice: Practice Yoga with Fitness Instructor Sandee Romano & get a henna hand tattoo.
Day 4: Israel
Movement/Music Activity: Participate in a Drum Circle with Shaliach Yoel Gleizer.
Day 5: Shabbat Shalom – Shabbat around the World
Kabbalat Shabbat: Participate in a camp singalong and Shabbat blessings with Song Leader Larry Kugler.
