Artist Reception with Maya Nadison

Thursday, September 18 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

ArtWorks: To Teach, To Connect, To Spark Change by Maya Nadison

Join us for the opening reception of ArtWorks: To Teach, To Connect, To Spark Change, a new exhibition by Maya Nadison. Enjoy wine, dessert, and an evening of creativity as you meet the artist and explore a powerful collection of works that highlight art’s ability to educate, connect, and inspire transformation.

Through puppetry, sculpture, illustrations, and graphic novels, Nadison invites us to see how art can distill complex ideas, foster empathy, and spark meaningful dialogue. Each piece reflects a moment in her journey where art became a catalyst for healing, understanding, and community building—whether by giving voice to difficult conversations, capturing lived experiences, or carrying forward cultural heritage.

From wood carvings and papier-mâché figures to sketchnotes and digital illustrations, ArtWorks demonstrates that art is more than expression—it is action. It teaches, it empowers, and it sparks change.
