Step into a world where ancient texts, groundbreaking technology, and immersive exhibits bring the stories of the Hebrew Bible to life like never before. Guided by the insightful and passionate Rabbi Moshe Englander, this unforgettable experience will deepen your understanding of faith, history, and the cultural legacy that continues to shape our world. Don’t miss this chance to encounter rare artifacts, walk through biblical narratives, and connect with the living traditions of the past — all in one extraordinary day!

Itinerary for the Day
09:45 AM – Departure from the J
10:30 AM – Arrival and Welcome
10:45 AM – 11:15 AM – Hebrew Bible Walkthrough.
Aan immersive, cinematic journey that traces the narrative of the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament)
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – The Ancient Art of the Torah Scribe by Rabbi Moshe.
This session dives into the sacred traditions of Torah scroll writing. You’ll learn about the meticulous process of hand-lettering a scroll, the materials used, and the spiritual meaning behind this ancient art. A rare chance to witness this tradition up close and personal!
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – Lunch Break
Sit and relax over lunch. If time allows, grab a beverage or snack at one of the museum’s cafes.
1:30 PM – 3:00 PM – Self-Guided Museum Exploration & Scavenger Hunt
Explore the museum at your own pace. Rabbi Moshe will provide a fun and educational scavenger hunt for the exhibit of The People of the Land Gallery, which houses the most extensive collection of Israeli Antiquities Authority (IAA) artifacts outside of Israel. Take some time to visit the museum’s large gift shop before we depart.

Notes: Please arrive at the J’s Lobby by 9:30 AM; the bus departs promptly at 9:45 AM (Museum location: 400 4th St. SW, Washington, DC 20024). We anticipate returning to the J at approximately 4:00 pm.
