Support Opportunities

Through film, art, and discussion, ReelAbilities Film Festival brings together the community to explore, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience in venues throughout the region and online. Community support is crucial and allows the festival to be offered at no cost to the audience, continuing the mission of increasing accessibility and promoting awareness. Please consider making a meaningful contribution to this highly anticipated annual tradition. All sponsors will be acknowledged prior to each screening and as indicated in the descriptions in the Sponsorship Packet.

Volunteer Opportunities – Film Festival Screeners Needed:

Fall 2025 – Virtual Film Festival Screener – Watch. Reflect. Help Curate Powerful Stories. All from home. We’re seeking passionate volunteers to join our programming team as Virtual Film Festival Screeners for our upcoming virtual film festival highlighting disability-centered stories.

As a virtual screener, you’ll help us discover compelling, underrepresented films by watching and evaluating submissions from anywhere in the world. Your input will help shape a festival that celebrates authenticity, intersectionality, and resilience. What You’ll Do: Watch film submissions online via a secure platform. Evaluate each film using our screening rubric. Submit brief written feedback. Participate in virtual check-ins or discussions with other screeners.

Winter 2026 – Film Festival Screener – Help Us Discover the Stories That Need to Be Told. Are you passionate about film, storytelling, and social justice? We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team as Film Festival Screener! As a screener, you’ll play a vital role in reviewing film submissions for our upcoming festival. Your feedback will help shape the lineup by identifying powerful, original stories that reflect the diverse experiences of the disabled community. What You’ll Do: Watch and evaluate film submissions. Complete brief evaluation forms for each film. Collaborate with the programming team on final selections.

For information about volunteering, contact Paul Marengo.
