Volunteer Services Kickoff Event

Pozez JCC is excited to announce the launch of Volunteer Services. Join us in celebrating our commitment to social impact and building community. Attend this event to learn how you can help give back to the community where you live, participate in a service project, enjoy lunch and bond with other community members!
10:00am-12:30pm: VOLUNTEER PROJECT FOR FAMILIES
Service project for families with kids ages 3+. Children will learn about Gemilut Hasidim (acts of loving kindness) and help sort donated clothing for a local shelter. At 11:30, lunch will be served (included).

11:30am-2pm: VOLUNTEER PROJECT FOR TEENS & ADULTS
We will start with lunch and discussion. Then we will do a service project for ages 14+. We will explore why democracy is a Jewish value and sign postcards to encourage minority voters to vote.
