This course is for true beginners in Hebrew. It will start with the letters of the alef bet (alphabet) and tackle vowels. Students will learn simple vocabulary and phrases like “my name is,” and rudimentary verbs and adjectives. Begin to learn how to read, write, speak, and understand Hebrew.
Each student must purchase the textbook, “Hebrew from Scratch Part 1” (generally available on Amazon or Abe Books). The book uses quotations from all eras of Hebrew writing and has a Hebrew-English dictionary, which includes all vocabulary and grammatical terminology and is used in all levels of classes.
This course will give you a solid foundation of Hebrew language basics. Lilmod Ivrit (Study Hebrew)!
