Navigating the New World of Online Dating + Mix & Mingle
Sunday, February 1 @ 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Program: 3:00 PM–4:30 PM; Social Hour: 4:30 PM–5:30 PM
Featuring Kathleen McGuiness, CDP, CMP, EOL, CHSS
Calling men and women ages 55+! Navigating the online dating world can be challenging—whether you’re older, not-so-old, newly single, or simply curious about how modern dating works. It’s never too late to find friendship, connection, or even love!
Kathleen McGuinness, a widow, who bravely began online dating at age 69 after a long marriage, will share her personal journey—honest, humorous, and hopeful—and offer practical insights for active senior adults who want to better understand today’s dating landscape.
During this interactive program, Kathleen will explore how people can:
- Stay safe and smart while dating online
- Be courageous and open to new experiences
- Build meaningful relationships, both platonic or romantic
After the presentation, stay for a relaxed Mix & Mingle Social Hour with hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages—a welcoming space to chat, connect, and keep the conversation going.
Join us for an inspiring afternoon of learning, laughter, and community as we reimagine what dating and companionship can look like as active adults.
