J-Talk: “K for Kosher” with Author Wesley Seidner

Wesley Seidner is a high school student who has loved baseball his entire life. With a grandfather who survived the Holocaust, he was always aware of his Jewish heritage but never showed much interest. Wesley started writing this manuscript just after his bar mitzvah in 8th grade and it is his first book.
“This is not just a collection of stories about great Jewish athletes; it’s also the story of my journey into Judaism over the past two years, explored through my unique passion for baseball and its Jewish players. From interviews with players to rooting for Team Israel to playing baseball in Israel, this is my story.”
Join Wesley as he shares his enthusiasm for America’s favorite pastime and the Jewish players here and abroad who make it great.
Light refreshments will be served. A book sale and signing will take place after the presentation. Ages 13+
