SUMMARY:Art & Artists: The Art of Passover (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:As most know\, the holiday of Passover is based on the story of the exodus of the Jews from Egypt. The name “Passover” comes from the “passing over” of the homes of the Jews during the 10th plague\, the death of the first born.  Join in this look at the Passover celebration via art objects as visual resources for learning and understanding. \n\n\n\nIn partnership with the National JCC Adult & Senior Alliance

SUMMARY:Trip to Theater J in DC to see "Hester Street" (In-Person)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this theatrical adaptation of the beloved 1975 film by Joan Micklin Silver. Faced with the disintegration of her marriage in a world she can barely comprehend\, Gitl must find her voice\, protect her son\, and redefine her identity. This scoop shop employs a staff of differently-abled adults  who are dedicated to serving up 28 flavors of small-batch ice cream made on site! \n\n\n\nPlease have a hearty breakfast before arriving and/or bring a dairy or pareve lunch to be eaten at Theater J before the show. We will provide a simple snack and bottled water to be eaten on the bus (before or after the show). \n\n\n\nNote: This trip is limited to 20 participants on a first come\, first served basis. Tickets are transferable\, but not refundable. \n\n\n\nBus departs the J at 11am and returns approximately 3:45pm.
