SUMMARY:JCC Community Choir
DESCRIPTION:Led by P’nina Plotkin McCabe\, Choir Director \n\n\n\nDo you like to sing? Are you interested in singing Jewish songs? If so\, join the new JCC Community Choir forming this fall! This is a great opportunity to connect musically to the Jewish tradition. The choir is open to high schoolers\, college students\, and adults of all ages in Northern Virginia.  All singing abilities are welcome!  Our choir has something for everyone: experienced singers will receive advanced material\, singers with moderate choral or vocal background will be well-engaged\, and those who just hum a little will fit right in! Our repertoire will range from secular to religious and include synagogue music\, Yiddish theater\, folksongs\, and Israeli songs. We will sing in various languages\, too: Hebrew\, English\, Yiddish\, Ladino\, and others. The session will culminate in a short performance (tbd). Come – let’s sing! Questions? Contact Shari.Berman@theJ.org or Rosesntune@aol.com. \n\n\n\nAges 16+Location: Pozez JCC Chaiken Auditorium
