Each student must purchase the textbook: “Hebrew from Scratch: Part 1” (available new on Amazon; used on Abe Books). The book uses quotations from all eras of Hebrew writing and has a Hebrew-English Dictionary which includes all vocabulary and grammatical terminology. Whether you are planning a future trip to Israel or just interested in learning the Hebrew language for your own knowledge\, this course will give you an excellent foundation.Note: This is an ongoing class. New students need an assessment to join.
