Practice conversation as you continue to reinforce the present tense and consolidate the use of grammar\, such as new verbs\, the present progressive tense\, direct and indirect objects\, pronouns and common prepositions of location and time. Learn about Spanish culture as well using interactive lessons\, games\, and music. \n\n\n\nClass format: 50 min. Grammar/10 min. Break/15 min. Breakout Room time (practice w/ classmates)/15 min. in Main Room for review and Q&A. \n\n\n\nHandouts will be provided. Homework will be assigned for reinforcement and review. Optional textbooks will be recommended\, but you are free to use any books on hand. \n\n\n\nZoom link provided prior to the first day of class. SUMMARY:Pozez JCC & American Red Cross Blood Drive
DESCRIPTION:Every day\, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims\, heart surgery and organ transplant patients\, and those battling cancer. In fact\, every two seconds\, someone in the U.S. needs blood. It is likely that you or someone you know will need a blood transfusion in your lifetime.  \n\n\n\nDue to recent drastic shortfalls of donations over the last several weeks\, donors of all blood types are critically needed\, especially those with type O blood. \n\n\n\nThe blood donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about an hour. The donation itself is only about 8-10 minutes on average. In order to qualify for whole blood donation\, you must be in good health and feeling well\, at least 16 years of age (with signed parental consent) and weigh at least 110 lbs. Additional eligibility criteria apply\, including certain medications\, medical conditions\, travel to certain countries\, and personal history.  \n\n\n\nPre-registered participants only.
