SUMMARY:Community Garden Groundbreaking
DESCRIPTION:Join us in cultivating community and compassion! We’re thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of our new community garden\, a collaborative effort with our neighbors at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Together\, we’ll lay the foundation for a flourishing space\, installing a fence\, garden boxes\, and storage\, and establishing pathways to the garden – all while enriching our soil with mulch and hope. \n\n\n\nRoll up your sleeves and make a difference! Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or new to the soil\, there’s a place for you. Come dressed ready to work outdoors\, and let’s create something beautiful together. \n\n\n\nOur harvest will nourish local veterans. We’re proud to partner with Cook for VETS\, a vital nonprofit providing free meals to those who served. Founder LJ Raspler will join us at the groundbreaking\, sharing her inspiring vision and helping us kickstart this meaningful endeavor. \n\n\n\nThis is just the beginning! We’ll be planting on May 18th\, and hope you’ll join us again as we watch our garden—and our community—grow. \n\n\n\nTo register\, click on the link below. If it is your first time volunteering with the J\, you’ll need to create an account on our Volunteer Portal which will also display other volunteer opportunities. \n\n\n\nThis event is in partnership with Pozez JCC\, Cook for VETS and Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Thank you to the Amazon Community Fund for generously supporting this interfaith project benefitting veterans.
