DESCRIPTION:¡Hola Amigos! Hello Friends! This class will focus on learning conversational Spanish. The class is fun and interactive — utilizing games\, books\, and music. Spanish is spoken in class from the first day! The students will learn pronunciation of vowels and consonants\, numbers\, pronouns\, useful phrases\, simple word recognition\, and basic verbs while building a Spanish vocabulary. \n\n\n\nClass format: 50 min. Grammar/10 min. Break/15 min. Breakout Room time (practice w/classmate)/15 min. in Main Room for review and Q&A. Handouts will be provided by the instructor. Homework will be assigned for reinforcement and review. Optional textbooks will be recommended\, but you are free to use any books on hand.  \n\n\n\nA Zoom link will be provided prior to the start of class. DESCRIPTION:This in-person course is designed for true beginners to the Hebrew language or those who need an extensive refresher. This class will help you learn the alphabet including vowels\, important vocabulary\, grammar\, and common phrases and sentences/questions using a variety of resources. Each student must purchase the textbook\, “Hebrew from Scratch Part 1” (available on Amazon). The book uses quotations from all eras of Hebrew writing and has a Hebrew-English Dictionary which includes all vocabulary and grammatical terminology\, and is used in all levels of classes. Whether you are planning a future trip to Israel or interested in learning the Hebrew language for your own knowledge\, this course will give you an excellent foundation.
