SUMMARY:Spanish Beginner/Basic 2 Course (Virtual on Zoom)
DESCRIPTION:¡Hola Amigos! Hello Friends! This class will focus on learning conversational Spanish. The class is fun and interactive – utilizing games\, books\, and music. Spanish is spoken in class from the first day! Students will learn pronunciation of vowels and consonants\, numbers\, pronouns\, useful phrases\, simple word recognition\, and basic verbs while building a Spanish vocabulary. The format of the class will be as follows: 50 min. Grammar/10 min. Break/15 min. Breakout Room time (practice w/classmate)/15 min. in Main Room for review and Q&A. \n\n\n\nHandouts will be provided by the instructor. Homework will be assigned for reinforcement and review. Optional textbooks will be recommended\, but you are free to use any books on hand. \n\n\n\nA Zoom link will be provided prior to the start of class. \n\n\n\nNote: Minimum number of students: 4; Maximum number of students: 12 \n\n\n\nWednesdays\, January 17-March 20 (10 weeks) \n\n\n\nInstructor: Ruth Roberts\, Spanish Language Instructor
