SUMMARY:GJF: Let's Go See and Read to the Animals!
DESCRIPTION:Join JFA Brie and her family for fun at Hope and Serenity Farm in Nokesville! They house and rehabilitate rescue animals big and small! \n\n\n\nWe will join farm volunteers to meet the animals that live on the farm and read to them! Reading to animals can improve reading skills and reduce anxiety for humans and animals. This activity fosters empathy and builds reading confidence in a serene\, supportive environment. Feel free to bring a blanket and chairs to make your own spot to read from. JFA Brie will have a selection of PJ library books to choose from. Remember it’s a working farm\, so closed toed shoes are required. \n\n\n\nParticipating families will need to sign a waiver that can be found here: https://hsfarm10445.wufoo.com/forms/z1khfg060q2qhyn/. Paper waivers will also be available on site.
