SUMMARY:Good Deeds Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Pozez JCC’s Good Deeds Day 2026\, bringing the community together through meaningful hands-on projects. Participants of all ages (3 years and up) are invited to engage in a variety of service stations\, each offering a unique opportunity to give back while living our Jewish values. \n\n\n\nThis year\, choose from wrapping silverware for a homeless shelter\, making crepe paper flowers for senior neighbors\, assembling snack packs for local school children\, sorting kosher food donations for Yad Yehuda (our local kosher food bank)\, or crafting pet toys in a fun recycling project. \n\n\n\nWe are also collecting non-perishable food donations for Food for Others and Yad Yehuda in our lobby. Drop-off is welcome any time! If you would like to contribute to our snack pack station\, we especially welcome snack donations to be used on the day. \n\n\n\nWhether you participate in one station or all\, your efforts will create a real and lasting impact. Come make a difference with us! \n\n\n\nSuggested donation is $25 per family. Donate here.Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

SUMMARY:October 7th Commemoration: Songs\, Stories\, and Foods of Remembrance
DESCRIPTION:The event is at capacity. Only those who have an email confirming their registration will be admitted to the event. \n\n\n\nYou can watch the live broadcast of the event here: https://www.youtube.com/@JCCofNoVA \n\n\n\nJoin us for a meaningful community gathering marking three years since October 7th — an evening of remembrance\, reflection\, and hope. The evening will feature a moving musical experience\, where select members of our community have chosen songs that hold personal and collective memories connected to October 7.
