This event offers an easy and accessible way to stay up-to-date on your vaccinations\, with professional care and guidance from Giant Pharmacy’s team. \n\n\n\nIf you are not feeling well\, please stay at home.Please have your completed consent form\, insurance card\, and photo ID with you when you arrive. Please click here to download the consent form. \n\n\n\nVaccines Being Offered: \n\n\n\nCovid vaccine (newest available) COVID-19 Vaccinations | Giant (giantfood.com) Pfizer-BioNTech; ModernaRegular Quadrivalent (4 strain)\, Flu\, ages 5-65High Dose Trivalent (4 strain)\, Flu\, age 65+Pneumonia vaccine – Prevnar 20 and Pneumovax 23. Prevnar 20 is for ages 65+ or individuals with immunocompromising conditions as listed by CDC.Pneumonia vaccine – Pneumovax-23\, age 65+ (unless one has chronic illness such as diabetes\, asthma\, COPD\, smoker\, then they need it earlier)Shingles – Shingrix\, age 50+ ( 2-shot series separated by 2-6 months)Hepatitis A Havrix\, age 18+ (2 shot series separated by 6 months)Hepatitis B Engerix-b\, age 18+ (3 shot series 0\,1\, then 6 months)T-dap – Boostrix\, age 18+ (Booster every 10 years) \n\n\n\nInsurance Information: \n\n\n\nMedicare-B (65+) covers flu and pneumonia at no charge to patient \n\n\n\nCigna\, Federal plan\, Tricare\, and Carefirst medical plans cover all the above vaccines at no charge to patient. Most Aetna plans cover vaccines. Most all other plans cover the flu vaccines at no charge. \n\n\n\nGiant is also offering a discounted rate to those who don’t have any insurance. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special day of crafting to support Kids Giving Back\, a local nonprofit which helps children in need. We’ll be creating no-sew Paw Patrol costumes for pre-K aged children. To support this meaningful initiative\, we kindly ask for a donation of $15 per participant to help cover the cost of supplies. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to create these costumes and spread happiness to children in our community. We will come together to create\, share\, and give back to those who need it most. DESCRIPTION:The Third Annual Distinguished Lecture in Judaic Studies at George Mason University with Aaron Dorfman\, Executive Director of A More Perfect Union: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy \n\n\n\nJews have it better in America than anywhere else in the Jewish Diaspora in the last 2\,000 years\, success that’s primarily a function of this country’s long tradition of liberal democracy. America’s democratic norms and institutions — religious freedom\, the rule of law\, freedom of association\, and others — have created an enabling environment in which Jewish life has thrived.
