SUMMARY:Volunteer Services Presents: Shabbat Shelves – Stories and Sharing
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a heartwarming Literacy Shabbat tailored for families with children. Celebrate the joy of reading and giving back as we swap and donate books\, including beloved PJ Library® titles. Bring gently used or new books you wish to swap or donate. All donations will be sorted and gifted to Reading is Fundamental\, an organization that provides books for children in need. During this special gathering\, children will have the opportunity to create beautiful bookmarks for the kids receiving these books. We will also enjoy challah\, grape juice and lighting Shabbat candles as we discuss the relationship between Shabbat and reading! To register\, click on the link below. If it is your first time volunteering with the J\, you’ll need to create an account on our Volunteer Portal which will also display other volunteer opportunities.Fee: FREE
