DESCRIPTION:Join our friends at Gesher Jewish Day School as they host Good Deeds Day and invite the greater Northern Virginia Jewish community to attend and participate. Good Deeds Day is an annual\, international celebration of Doing Good. We will join more than two million volunteers around the world for this day of service and roll up our sleeves to make an impact through a variety of hands-on volunteer projects. \n\n\n\nThey will also be hosting a Kid’s Concert featuring local favorite artist Nick May. \n\n\n\nJoin us and our community partners to kick off Good Deeds week with an afternoon of tzedakah projects.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 3rd Annual HorizonWALKS on Sunday\, April 14th at the Jumbotron at National Harbor in Oxon Hill\, MD. HorizonWALKS will bring together teams and families in-person to reach our $125\,000 goal. \n\n\n\nHorizon Day Camp is the DMV’s ONLY full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings\, ages 3 1/2 to 16\, offered completely free of charge. There is no other summer program like this in the Greater Washington Area. Every dollar raised stays in the DMV. \n\n\n\nCheck-in and fun family activities start at 8:00AM and our short one-mile walk will begin at 9AM.
