SUMMARY:Film Screening of “Flory’s Flame” and Q&A with Susan Gaeta of Trio Sefardi
DESCRIPTION:A JCC Adult Outreach Program in Alexandria \n\n\n\nLegendary Sephardic composer and musician Flory Jagoda delighted contemporary audiences with ancestral songs and lyrics that stretch back centuries. This film weaves Flory’s compelling personal story\, warmly told by Flory and her family\, with selections from her highly acclaimed concert at the Library of Congress in 2014. At the conclusion of the film\, Flory’s mentee\, Susan Gaeta\, will entertain your questions. \n\n\n\nEnjoy a special Sephardic treat in honor of Flory and her legacy!Fee: $15 in advance; $18 at the door (includes light refreshments)Ages 18+
